PromoQuip® Smart Purchase Layaway Plan Terms & Conditions

PromoQuip® offers its services to consumers and businesses subject to the following TERMS and CONDITIONS:

1. PromoQuip® charges a flat 1.9% transaction fee on the final balance with a minimum fee of $2.00 (not including sales tax and shipping where applicable).
2. Unless otherwise specified in the merchant’s TERMS and CONDITIONS, installment payments are derived by equally dividing the final balance over the term of the transaction. The first of these payments is considered the deposit.
3. The PromoQuip® cancelation fee charged to consumers is either $35 or 10% of the price of the item placed on layaway; whichever is less. The remaining balance is returned to the consumer's bank account.
4. Default is defined as two consecutive payments that are returned from the consumer's bank. If a consumer defaults, on the their account, the account will be assessed a cancelation fee of $35 or 10% of the price of the item placed on layaway; whichever is less, in addition to any fees charged by the transacting banks. Any balance on the account will be returned to the consumer.
5. If any scheduled payment is unsuccessful, the user's account will be assessed a $19.00 fee per instance.
6. In the unlikely event that PromoQuip® cannot complete the transaction as agreed, the consumer will receive a full refund.
7. By making a first Smart Purchase Layaway Plan payment (deposit), the buyer is indicating that he/she agrees to the above terms and conditions.
